7/01 Campeones - Update

01 July 2008 - Here is a review of some Madrid newspapers in the aftermath of the Euro 2008 Futból championship, won by Spain (see our June 29 post for more details). Click on each image to enlarge so you can actually read the articles and see the pictures in much more detail. Included are articles from the day after the match (30 June) and the day after the team's welcome-home tour in Madrid (01 July) - the big ceremony, and related craziness was again in the Plaza Colón, just one-half mile away from our hotel. It has been a lot of fun to have been here during all of this excitement.
