7/07 Barcelona, Las Ramblas

07 July 2008 - This is our first full day in Barcelona. Took a little while to get going, after a couple late nights and early mornings. Mallorie and I, along with our friend Nischa, who had joined us last evening (she flew in from Paris) had a late breakfast at a neighborhood café, then walked along the Gran Via, past the university, to the Plaza Catalunya. While there, we visited the El Cortez Inglés department store, and then moved on to strolling along Las Ramblas (or La Rambla - never sure?).
