7/02 Salamanca in Detail

02 July 2008 - We spent the day in Salamanca ... a university town west of Madrid in the province of Castilla y León. We focused on the beautiful Plaza Mayor, the Cathedrals, and the University (oldest in Spain). I also added a section on some food that we have been seeing - photos shown below. Sorry that there are so many pictures in today's post. I had trouble filtering them out.

On the train to Salamanca, Mallorie talked to a fellow traveler - she was preparing a presentation to doctors, regarding use of the Internet to get info on Pharmaceuticals.
