6/22 London Orientation

22 June 2008 - We spent a quiet morning revovering from jet lag and finishing some school work. Went to the Covent Gardens and toured around the area and headed down to the river - specifically the Embankment area. We went to a pub called the Princess of Wales, where we watched one of the Euro 2008 matches (Spain vs Italy - Spain won on penalty kicks) - it was a great atmosphere.

Today was our 34th wedding anniversay and consider the trip a heck of a way to celebrate it.

In the Underground - we are getting good use of the "Oyster Cards" - week got the unlimited 7-day pass to The Underground and buses.
