6/24 Greenwich Mean Time

24 June 2008 - After breakfast we hopped on the Tube (Central Line) and briefly visited Oxford Street, then travelled on to Greenwich (on the Jubilee Line), where we spent most of the day. We walked the grounds visiting the Royal Observatory, the National Maritime Museum, and the waterfront, as well as a look at the town itself.

Here are some photos from the trip ...

After returning , we went out to a pub, "Prince Albert" in Notting Hill, with Bechtel mates (Epe, Paul, and Bob) followed by a nice dinner at a nearby restaurant, Kensington Place. See photos below ...

I have done that same straddle... many moons ago though. And yes, the classic Wilkerson pose, the distant, walking-away butt shot. Gotta love it.

I'm really enjoying the photos of some very familiar places - keep posting them. Good to see you don't seem to have needed the brollies yet!

Nary a brollie needed (at least not yet) - we're off to Cambridge on Thursday - hoping the good weather holds.
